Vision: The Department of Transit and Logistics has as vision to respond to the increasing demand for trained professionals in the area of transit and logistics and to meet the needs of the Country in this domain. It is of paramount importance that logistics be done under the right regulations so as to ensure the safety of the products. This Department will therefore provide substantial knowledge and practical skills to produce competent logistics managers. Mission: The primary objectives of department of transport and logistics are: to produce competent professionals in logistics of high quality, to solve practical problems and to generate new technologies in the domain of transit and logistics so as to ensure efficiency in and the safety of goods handled. The degree awarded at the end of the training will be a Bachelor’s Degree in Transit and Logistics.
